Soymilk

Ingredients:

Soybean: 1.5 - 2 cup

Sugar: Optional

Method:

1) Wash and soak soybean for 6-8 hours.

2) Pour soaked Soybean into the Joyoung soy milk maker jug.

3) Add water till the desired level (for model D08D: 900-1300ml or model A11D: 1000-1200ml).

4) Cover the lid, turn on the power, and select 'Soaked bean' function.

5) The machine will beep when the soy milk is ready.

6) Pour the soymilk and filter the fiber through the sieve provided.

7) You may add sugar to your likings. Ready to serve 3-4 people.

Tip 1: For flavoured soy milk such as almond, walnut or black sesame etc, you may add 2 tablespoon of the nuts of your choice.

Tip2: If you do not have soaked bean, wash the dry soybean and choose 'Dry bean' function instead.

 

Dried scallop Chicken Porridge

Dried scallop Chicken Porridge

Ingredients A

Short grain rice (calrose rice) / White rice: 1 cup

Dried Scallop: 25g

Ingredients B

Chicken flesh: 150g (minced)

Light sauce: 1 tsp

Ground Pepper: ¼ tsp

Sesame Oil: 1 tsp

Corn flour: 1 tsp

Ingredients C

Diced Spring Onion: as preferred

Ground Pepper: as preferred

Method:

1) Marinated chicken flesh with remaining seasoning in Ingredients B for ½ an hour.

2) Washed rice and dried scallop separately, place into soy milk maker, add water to 1100 mark, soak for ½ an hour.

3) Add marinated Ingredients B, mix well.

4) Turn on power supply > press Select > select Rice paste > press Start.

5) When porridge is ready, soya milk maker will produce reminder beep, switch off power supply.

6) Sprinkle with diced spring onion and ground pepper when serving.

 

 Pumpkin Soup

Pumpkin: 450g

Cashew Nuts: 18 pcs

(Optional)

Salt & pepper: to taste

Method:

1) Cut the pumpkin flesh into cube size.

2) Put the pumpkin into Joyoung soy milk maker jug.

3) Add water till the maximum water level.

4) Cover the lid, turn on the power, and select 'Grains' function.                    

5) The machine will beep when the soup is ready.

6) Pour the soup out and ready to serve 4-5 people.

7) You may add salt and pepper to your likings.

 

Walnut Soymilk

 

Ingredients

Walnut: 75 gm

Red Rock Sugar: 40 - 45 gm

Water: 500ml

Peanuts: 1 tbsp (Baked)

Soymilk or Evaporated Milk: 50 ml

  

Method:

1) Put walnut into boiling water to boil for a while, discard skin and drain dry.

2) Bake at 150 C for 20 minutes until golden.

3) Place (2) walnuts, water, peanut and rice into Joyoung soymilk maker, cover the lid, turn on the power and select"Rice Paste" button. The machine will beep when it is done.

4) Lastly, add rock sugar and evaporated milk, stir till sugar dissolved.

 

Black Sesame Paste 

 Ingredients 

Black sesame: 1 cup

White/glutinous rice: 1/2 cup

Water: 900ml

Oats: 2 tbsp

Almond: 10 pcs

Kidney Beans: 8 pcs (Optional)

  

Method:
